Hello from central Maryland

I'm new to Savage rifles even though I've been shooting for half a century. Two years ago, I was looking for a bolt action host for a suppressor because my 10-22 was a bit loud and I didn't want to thread the barrel of my Browning T bolt that my Dad gave me when I was 10. I began searching for a host rifle and a local shop I deal with was running Savage's on sale. I had a couple of trusted friends tell me I couldn't go wrong with one so I bought a Mark II FV-SR. Wow! Love at first shot!

So now that my elected officials, in their never ending efforts to protect me, are trying to make me get a license to buy a long gun, I figured maybe I should get some more stuff before they succeed. So I just purchased a 110 Tactical 20". I haven't received it yet, but I'm kind of excited. So please forgive me if I ask a ton of questions.
