    Choate stock trigger guard issue

I picked up a Choate tactical stock for a project, used. Well I didn’t ask and the seller didn’t say, but it arrived with no trigger guard. No big deal, I have trigger guards. None I have fit correctly. I have another one that is like it, except it has a detachable magazine.
I did some searching and it seems Savage now makes what is referred to as a “wide” trigger guard. I looked and found no source or reference for a wide guard.
    Anyone else have such issues.
All of my Choate stocks have been excellent till this issue came up.
These are both center feed actions with the old style side bolt release, yes they are the correct stocks.
    TIA for any help.
    Jeff

So how is it "not fitting correctly?" Too short? Too long? To wide? Too narrow? What are the measurements on the trigger guard you have? What's the measurements on the inlet in the stock?
