Welcome aboard
Hi, my name is Patrick.
I bought my first Savage, a mk II fvt, because it was the closest affordable option to what I had shot in high school on my rifle team, and I wanted my oldest son to learn to shoot with aperture sights.
I currently also have a mk II fv-sr that I bought when I got my first suppressor, a 10 GRS in 6.5 CM and a 10 Ashbury Precision in 6.5 CM, both purchased in the last two years as I've gotten more into long range shooting. I used to have a 10 FCP-K and a Lightweight Hunter, both in 308, but I sold them.
I'm an NRA Rifle and Shotgun instructor and RSO, primarily for Boy Scouts.
