I've had my Axis (old trigger) for a few weeks now With my first ladders of 50 and 55gr bullets, I did a .590 from a rest and bag. I was banging a 14x16" plate at 300 today. It was so calm even my 80yr old 22lr was shooting sub 2MOA at a 100! Continuing development, adding a $40 6-24x50 scope (what could go wrong?), a cheek weld pad, a cheap, even for Chinese, bi pod and I have the trigger down to 1 1/2lbs (no slams). When checking distance to the lands with a notched case (no primer), I showed 2.284ish. Seems high in my very limited experience. I'm loading 50s at 2.220 and 55s at 2.250. As I said, sub MOA with .060 jump!!! Load at 2.260? Thoughts would be appreciated.
