    Barrels

How would you rate Lothar Walther, benchmark and McGowan barrels from stand point of quality, performance and desirability? Thanks for any and all input.

Only shot the LW 22-250 for two summers on P Dogs and it took it like a trooper. Would shoot sub 1/2 inch groups all day. The only thing I did not like is the copper as per they don't lap their barrels. Frankly speaking I miss the Douglas barrels that Fred carried. I also shoot a lot of Shilen barrels and the shoot pretty good and clean-up easier because they are lapped.

You probably could not go wrong with any of them tho.
