    Maybe, might, sure why not?


    In this case;
    338 federal VS 8mm/08.
    The boy has a 110 savage he thinks would serve us better as one of these.
    The bullet selection goes to the 338 the cool factor goes to the 8mm/08.
    What are the consciences here?
    I kinda lean to the 338.
    We have most of the similar cartridges, just looking for something to build.

    Just a idea.. maybe look up load data for each and see what others prefer for reloading each and compare to powders you may already use for other load and maybe you'll get luck and not need to add a additional powder to your supply..

    Had a brief affair with the .350 Winchester back in the day. Just
    kept going back the the family's 300 Savage to fill the freezer.
    I guess the .338 Federal would have my nod for the cool factor.
