    110 Tactical Barrel Markings

Just bought a new 110 tactical chambered in 308. As I was looking it over I noticed that there are a couple markings on the barrel end inside the action. One marking is (5U) and 180 from that there is a (39). I would post pics but I do not have a borascope available at the moment. Just curious to know what these markings meen? Thanks in advance.

I would imagine the 5U is the chamber/twist code. The 180 may just be the machine or operators ID#. Fred will likely know for certain.

That is a production code, i.e..operator,shift, machine #. The barrels are chambered 4 at a time. The caliber code is stamped on the outside of the barrel.
