    New member and New gun

Just bought 110 predator in 6.5 creedmoor, will be useing it for hunting . I like the gun, it is grouping well with factory ammo . Have only ru n two boxes down range at 100 yards. I have tried the 125 Winchesters and the 129 hornadys .Shooting 1.5 high at 100 . Looking forward to going somewhere I can shoot further

    Welcome to the savage insanity
6.5 is a fun caliber you will enjoy it
If you get a chance, try some of the Hornady ELD ammo

I have two Savages in 6.5mm CM.

One shoots 130 Sierra Tipped Match Kings and Berger 140 Match and Hybrid, 130 Hornady 130 ELD-M, and 140 Hornady ELD-M the best.
The other shoots 142 SMKs and 147 Hornady ELD-Ms the best.
You'll never know what a particular rifle will shoot best until you try different weights and powders.

The Sierra 130 gr Tipped Match Kings aren't available in factory ammo as far as I know but their Game King bullets are and are hunting bullets.

I'm not sure if their new Sierra Game Changer hunting bullets are available in factory ammo yet but I'd keep my eye out for them.

I find that Hornady Match ammos are accurate if you are shooting targets, they're reasonably priced, and generally available in different weights.
Hornady ELD-X 143 gr hunting bullets perform well but are just a bit less accurate than the Hornady Match bullets in both my rifles.
If you don't reload, Hornady factory ammos might be a good choice to start experimenting with bullet weights to see what your rifle likes.
