Starting with a L/A magnum probably isn't the best option. Depending on when it was made, you may have to change out the firing pin assembly and front baffle along with the bolt head as on the centerfeed magnums those parts are specific to the magnum bolt head. Also, I doubt it would feed very well in a L/A setup as the rear of the cartridge would likely clear the feed lips long before the bullets tip has started into the chamber. Foxx will likely chime in with more definitive information as he's done quite a few .450 conversions for folks up north.
Easiest solution IMO would be to call up Effie Sullivan in the Special Order Dept. at Savage and order a LH 110 Wolverine. If she says the LH AccuFit sporter stock won't accommodate that barrel, suggest the LH 110 Tactical stock which is identical to the sporter but with a slight beavertail on the forend and a heavy barrel channel.
