    Ditched stock for a boyds...my long distance setup


    Before..

    My savage axis 2 heavy barrel 6.5 cm from wally world. 22" barrel. Ditched the bushnell scope and picked up a bushnell Engage scope when it came with a set of binos.



    After... Boyds prairie hunter stock in pepper gray forwarded to cdi for botton metal.





    Got to do a little stock still but she is purdy...

    Buy once cry one....righhhhttttt.....

    Looks pretty good but I would mount the scope lower myself. I have a DNZ Game Reaper on my axis and am happy with it for the cost. Many choices and options out there tho, best of luck.

    Good goo that dogs eyes are creeepy. I have the same stock in the same color, I like it a LOT. That should do a fine job.
