    Old Savage Stock ID

Picked up a Savage stock a few weeks ago. Date stamp inside stock forearm says Dec 00. Don't know what Savage models these came on and have never seen one like it. Anyone know anything about this kind of Savage stocks?

Cover model for the 2000 catalog, it's the basic Model 10/110G from the Hunter Series with walnut stained hardwood stock. Should have sights on the barrel. This and the 11/111F (synthetic stocked version) were the entry level Savage 110's at that time.

I knew something was wrong with that finish. Dirty deed.
    Looks good though.
The Dunning-Kruger effect is alive and well.
