    1907 .32 gunsmith

I have a family gun I am now in possession of, and I would like it to be checked out by a gunsmith that knows historic Savages. I am near Houston but would ship to someone who knows what they are doing. Would appreciate recommendations.
    Thank you hellerjohn@sbcglobal.net

When I attempted to disassemble for inspection I could only get the hammer assembly turned about 45 degrees and could not disengage it. Upon closer inspection I see damage to the bottom of the slide.
