Newbie here, have a 116FSAK in 300 RUM, and a 99E in 300 Savage, love them both dearly, the bolt gun is wonderfully accurate, but very expensive to feed.
Welcome to the site. Join the site for $12 and put that RUM up for sale in the classified ads on site and use the money to get something less expensive to shoot depending on what you want it for. All magnums are expensive to shoot, even with handloads. If you dont have a need for all that power in the RUM, consider a .270, .30-06 or similar.
