    Mark ii work

So i ordered a richards microfit benchrest style stock 3" for my mark ii BTV today. I use my rifle for a indoor 50 yard br postal league and a f class postal league with my local club, it is 50 and 100 yard outdoor. My rifle with cci sv has been about a 1 moa rifle with the terrible factory accutrigger.

After ordering the stock i called www.savagegunsmithing.com and talked to him. Nice guy and i think the price is reasonable. For less than 300 he is going to do the whole shebang to my rifle even told me to call richards back and have them ship the stock directly to him.

He gaurantees .3 moa on his rimfire work and said most leave better than that. What have those of you had it done seen in your performance? My rifle goes out tomorrow is i can get my league shot in the morning.

Can i expect my rifle to come back and be able to compete with anschutz and 40x rifles?

    Thank you
    Chad P.

Wow, 0.3 MOA is small for a 22

I'd like to know if that is achievable as well.

I shoot .3 all day at 50 yards with my factory Mkll FV-SR and CCI sv. I wonder if he could improve mine?

.3 moa is .300" @ 100 yds, not 50. Getting a .22 rimfire to shoot that good and consistent at 100 would be quite a feat, period.

.3 moa is .15" at 50 yard or .075" at 25 yard. Not sure at what distance Scott gaurantees .3 accuracy, but currently rifle shoots 1 moa. Im sure he wouldnt say .3 at 100 cause that would be a heck of a feat for a 22.

    I highly doubt that even $20+ a box 22lr ammo is .3 @ 100 consistant.

Right, my 284 is .155 at 100 for over a dollar a shot.
