New option: affordable action for Savage Pre-fits

Hey guys, I thought I'd share this here in case anyone is thinking about a new build in their future.

Looks like the list of budget actions keeps growing:

Looks like a great option and they are offering a special pre-order price through Jan 15.

Another player in a saturated market. I don't know what's so affordable about it, by the time you add a trigger and magazine hardware your'e over a grand.

Looks like he is marketing Thompson Leh's action.

The Dunning-Kruger effect is alive and well.

Custom bolt action aftermarket actions are becoming akin to the AR world. It's become to the point where most of the available actions will do the same thing, just have very minute differences.
They who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety.

Savage should have paid attention to these guys making actions with Savage threads,Tighter bolt clearance and everything in the same axis, interchangeable bolt heads and Remington style triggers. A Savage version of the 40XB.... Everyone else would be out of business.

Not sure about now, but the 40x at least was a custom shop item, not simply a production line gun. Not sure if Savage offers that but it might be a consideration if they don't. Otherwise it would appear to me they are doing a pretty good job of competing in the gun market.
Problem with so many of these actions appearing is that many of the small companys that offer them will ultimately fail or for whatever reason cease to exist. That would make a gun built on one a good gun and valuable to it's original owner. I guess there might be a few exceptions, but my guess would be very few.
