    help with identification

First time here, if I messed something up, let me know. I received a savage shotgun model # 1015380, by sears and robuck. Can anyone give me info? I'm new to all this. Thanks.

    Sounds like a model 101

    Heres a link to a schematic https://www.gunpartscorp.com/gun-man...tguns-sav/96-3

BHJeep is most likely correct. Apparently Savage made a lot of these for Sears, Stevens, J.C. Higgins etc. I found parts for my J.C. Higgins 20 Ga. Model 101.40 from the Savage Model 96 list.
