I know I have the correct ones. I will have to check the size.
I always use a "White Towel" and a clear gallon baggie when working on a bolt head, FYI

Ok I picked up a new extractor, spring and detent ball, for my rifle and of course the ball went flying to who knows were. I stopped at the local hardware store and they had some 5/32 ones do you guys think that would work?

I think the correct upgrade size is 9/64ths = .140"
The hole is around 5/32 so the 5/32 ball would be tight unless you ran an oversized reamer in it.
Any dirt or gunk would be a game ender.
The Dunning-Kruger effect is alive and well.
I recently found that using a magnetized allen driver to push the extractor out had the great effect of grabbing the ball as well...
Yep won’t work thought I would try it was going to go hunting in the morning but guess not
You can still hunt. You will only get one shot though. You can get a bag of the 9/64ths balls on amazon for cheap. I can send you one but it will take 4 days probably.
