    Criterion 223 Remington Match Barrel

I just installed a Criterion stainless 223 Remington Match 1 in 8 Barrel. Measuring for COLA I get 2.385 to the lands. Does this seem correct.

That depends on the bullet. I have the same barrel and chamber. My coal. on 75gr hrndy hybt is 2.33, with 80gr nosler CC. it runs about 2.5"

That explains it. I was worried that a 80 grain Hornady match bullet would not work. I was measuring with a 68 hpbt Hornady. Thanks

I'm thinking about buying one of these in an 8 twist 4 groove for my .223. How does yours shoot? Are you happy with it?

Mine is a 7 twist, I didn't ask about groves...oops. I like it a lot. 28" bull contour in a boyds provarmint stock and a sightron 10-50, its my favorite gun right now. I will buy another CBI when this one burns out.
