Let's talk about savage 10/110ba LE

Well i cant belive the price of sale of this rifle, below 1000 dolars even below 900. So im gonna buy it, because has never existed a rifle better for the price, really.
    But...
Why this rifle is so cheap?
Is compatible with ar10 mags?( they are very very very similar)
I want it in control feed. Just i need to change this to do that and work in a barrel of 7mm08 rem?https://www.midwayusa.com/product/10...n-ultra-magnum

If not, what i need to do?

Control round feed bolt heads are only for magnum(.532") cases.

You won't get a custom bolt head in controlled round feed for anything smaller than a magnum.....the ejector won't work.

    How you know that?
Other thing one of the features of crf is that accept many calibers, you know if someone has tried to use a controlled savage in 308 round or creedmoor 7mm08 etc?

Evidently you've never looked at one close......and ,yes I've tried it. If it was a viable option I'd be all over it.

Yes that's true. But i think that the other nice part of having a rifle, search parts from here, other from there, is this fit... etc i like to spend time looking for some secret.
I don't know if i have a solution, but i think that this could hit in the X ring... or may be not.

exist a place called, legendary firearms that develpes an action with this face:

the bolt face of a controlled round of savage looks like this:

here is a guy who works savage actions:

in the minute 8:00 of this video i can see that the head space of that head is very similar to a savage action:

Could be posible ask that bolt face with a little modification to put in the savage action?, because that face doesn't use the long claw of the control feed bolts.

May be using this, with the bolt face of savage, could works.
