Makes me smile knowing I made a good choice in that Choate Varmint stock. He must have thought the same since his Savage is in one too. They are VERY good stocks for a very little amount of money.

Most find they either love or hate the Choate Ultimate Sniper and Varmint stocks.

Considering Savage built my early 90's 110FP .308W with the absolute worst stock imaginable, the Choate alone turned it into a sub 1/2 minute from never getting under 1MOA prior. I'm one who is in love with my Choate. Mind you, it is no walking around stock, but for what I do, which is shoot off the bench at paper targets, the weight is great. The grip has a compartment you could store something in, but I filled mine with #6 shot to add even more weight. Makes those 175 SMK's feel like a 223
