I like it.
Greeting all, I haven't been very active on the forums but recently finished some paint and thought I'd share. I found some photos of an AR15 painted this scheme on another forum a while back and finally decided to go for it.
The rifle is a long action 110 flat-back with a 26" Criterion 6BR tube on it. Scope is a cheap Bushnell AR-Optics 4.5-18 that has been phenomenal. This gun has shot so well that I was initially hesitant to paint it, but nothing has changed in the accuracy department.
The pattern is supposed to look like a copperhead, but with krylon it was hard to match the colors. Ripped pieces of painters tape made up the edges for the pattern. I can post up the colors I used if anyone is interested.

A good wife and a steady job has ruined many a great hunter.
That's sharp looking
Very nice
Nice rattler rattlecan camo! Clever execution of the pattern as well. I'm a Rustoleum guy, myself, but they're both decent paints. Did you clear coat it as well? I found it increases sheen slightly but really seems to increase the durability.
I do it on all of mine nowadays. When I first started my face grease would lift the paint on the comb when using Krylon's camo colors. That's why I have that piece of rubber on the stock of the AR-180B.
The positive upshot of the clear coat having its own sheen is you can use paints of any gloss level, and the clear coat will even them out.
i got a buddy who cerkotes man its nice. your paint looks great
That looks really cool!
