Hs anyone tried this ramshot tac powder in thier 223..
I will be using 77 gr SMK bullets.
So wonder if you have used it and to what results you got
I've been using it with 50gr bullets for my general purpose .223 varmint loads that I use in two bolt guns and two AR's. Haven't used it with any heavier bullets though as I don't shoot them in .223. If I need to shoot something past 300 yards I pull out the fast twist 22-250AI.

i've used TAC on only one round in .223: was doing a load development for 88 gr ELD Match with Lake City Brass. 24 gr of TAC got me 2744 fps with SD: 6.8 COAL: 2.371
I use TAC with 77gr SMK' s in a 1-8 Rock River ar. I get 1/2" groups when I do my part.....I found that TAC and Varget fill the bullet weights between 52gr and 77gr. But each rifle is an entity unto it's self....rsbhunter
