All break in does is polish the barrel to make it easier to clean. After the first 20 rounds it is about as good as it gets. I find mine very easy to get clean after my "break in". I shot 5 rounds and cleaned completely. Another 5 rounds and clean. Then I shot 10 and cleaned.
The 10 round cleaning should be easier than the 1st 5 round cleaning.
After that I just shoot it like I stole it and clean after each range session.

Same method I use on all 22LRs.
    1. Clean with a couple patches of Hoppe's #9.
    2. Dry bore with a couple dry patches.
    3. Shoot the thing like it was meant to be.
