    11 mag question


    I have acquired a Savage 11 in .223. Accutrigger, round top with synthetic stock with DBM. Heavy 24" barrel. It is missing the magazine. The guy I got it from ordered one Savage part number 106243. It does not seem to fit. Serial number is J252456.

    The mag will not seat in the bottom metal. The mag release does not seem to fully engage so maybe this is the issue. It looks like it should be the right mag but I really don't know. Don't have another to compare it to.
