I was fortunate to be able to retire in 2016 at the age of 57. I have a Savage Model 11 223 that I started to "accurize" in 2014, but was too busy to finish. Built in 2003 with a 1:9 twist. I bedded the pillar area, sanded the synthetic stock to keep the barrel free floating, and replaced the trigger with a Timney. Finished and sighted in a scope last week, and now trying to find out what bullets it likes best.. Then will handload specific rounds. Joined here to get some answers about the gun, which i will post in the regular forum. Trying to get a good accurate coyote gun/ammo combination before I go to Montana and Kansas. Been pheasant hunting in the fall with my Lab, pulling a jeep behind my RV. Hope to do some varmint hunting this fall while out on my pheasant hunting trips
