Hello all. I am new to this forum and new to owning a savage rifle. I have recently found myself in possession of an older Savage Model 112 Series J and am looking for a good resource for information about my rifle and what I can expect from it. I am an average shooter with what I consider average ability, I can hold a MOA group out to a couple of hundred yards and am always looking for ways to improve. I am VERY new to the sport of precision shooting and was hoping to be able to use my new Savage to help me break in. Any advice is more than welcome and I am no stranger to constructive criticism. Thanks for allowing me to join this group and I look forward to hearing advice from people much more experienced than myself.
