My initial impression was somewhat lacking as I went through the rifle looking for tooling marks and burs.
I found the bolt to be extremely sharp on the edges,so much so it drags quite a bit. I am current messaging it and it’s slicking up quite nicely.

The first thing I did notice was the stock, it’s not as horrible as some might think, but it has no comb making a cheek weld all but impossible without adding a riser.

After initial sight in, I found quickly that it did not like the bulk federal ammo I had left over from previous years.
When I switched to CCI standard , it became a whole new ball game. It was easily out shooting me after about 120 rounds of break in.

I do want to swap the stock, but I do hunt allot so I don’t want the Boyd’s Tacticool heavy bench stock.
I am looking at the Boyd’s Rimfire Hunter stock but there are zero reviews with this rifle combo.
