    Savage 12 BVSS in 22-250

i have an older 12BVSS in 22-250 wood stock, SS fluted 26" barrel. haven't shot it in years, the last time i had a good 50gr load for it, thinking of taking it out of the safe and shooting at again, curious if anyone ever got the Sierra 69gr matchkings to work.

    thanks

That would depend on whether your barrel has a 1-9" or 1-12" twist rate. The standard 1-12" twist would be too slow for the long 69gr match bullets, even at 22-250 velocities. The faster 1-9" twist rate wasn't offered as an option until 2008 or 2009.
