12 Centerfeed BT series 22-250 ---> 308 Magazine conversion

Haven't done this on a centerfeed yet. We have a Model 12 Thumbhole centerfeed (don't remember the model exactly) that was a 22-250 and we converted it to a 308. What do we to make the magazine functional for the 308? tiny

Centerfeed magazines are a little different for both the .22-250 and the .308

But like many things Savage, you could maybe tweak things around and make it work?
