Swapping Barrels

Didn't know where to post this so I'll try it here. Can a barrel from an axis be swapped with a barrel from a model 10? one is a .308 and the other is a 6.5 creedmoor.

Yes as long as they are both have the same shank size.

Check the bolt head size, I’m not sure if it’s the same.

Yes, Only thing that matters in this situation is the shank size. If the M10 action is in the Target line like the LRP it is a Large Shank action. Other Model 10's are small shank diameter.

308 and 6.5 Creed use the same bolt head.
