    Used Savage 11 in 22-250

I have been a member here for the past few months since I was looking to buy my first Savage.
This week I bought a used heavy barrel Savage 11 in 22-250. I cleaned the barrel with some Bore Klenz and got a lot of blue then ran some JB bore paste through. I mounted a scope and took it to the range today.
I shot at 50 yards to get the scope zeroed. After boresighting, my first shot landed 5 inches high on center.
I adjusted the scope down 10 MOA and it was nearly dead on. Here is my first target with Rem 55gr factory loads.
LabRadar shows a 10 shot average of 3825fps.
It looks like rifle and scope are very good.

Thanks for commenting, everyone. I had read people say that a Savage is their most accurate rifle.

Now back it on up a ways and tune up a hand load and adjust that scope about one more click right :)

You definitely have a great shooter there! My Savage 22-250 shoots well with 60 grain V-Max.
