    Converting 223 to 224 Valkyrie

After debating it for a few minutes; if I’m not correct in my logic, please straighten me out; but to convert from 223 to 224 Valkyrie, a person would need to open the bolt face a smidge and cut about 3/8” off the chamber side of a barrel and rechamber, correct?

It's an awful lot of work on the factory barrel and bolt head. Wouldn't the barrel shank also need more threads to attach the barrel nut? The economy of effort might suggest that a new barrel and bolt head would be worth it in the long run. That said, most of my projects can be summed up as "I could've paid for Product X, but..." so I understand the impetus to do it on the cheap.

I don't think any magazine is going to work right out of the box, so that's another consideration.
