Missing part PLEASE HELP!!!! 10 BA Stealth 6.5 Creedmoor

Hi I am new to this but have a question. The model 10 BA stealth in 6.5 creedmoor came with a muzzle brake but no nut ring thingy to keep it straight. I have same model in .338 and I see the ring nut behind the brake.
I contacted savage via online support and no response. Instead I would like to simply buy the nut and be done with it even though they owe me one. Any idea actual name of part and if someone could post a link to buy that would be a tremendous help. Thank you and happy shooting!!!

That might be it. I just know on the 338 lapua it with the nut or washer it tightens up and lines up perfectly

If it goes over the muzzle threads and the muzzle break/flash hider tightens against it then it's the anti crush washer... let me see if I can get a close up of one of my rifle barrels.. right there above my thumbnail.

You can order them, they are $2-4... they have a almost conical shape to them like, the outside of the spherical shape goes towards the barrel

I believe 6.5cm and 308 usually have same thread size on muzzle, not always... may not hurt to check with savage and asked them muzzle thread size.. that's really what most important is to get washer that slips snugly over correct thread size but If I remember correctly the cm I build and ar10 308 both used identical anti crush washers.. i didnt use breaks but used flash hides but the washer is the same

Yes, 5/8-24 is what you want for 6.5mm. I have a bunch of them. If you PM me, I can drop one in an envelope for you.

If looks are not a problem, a jam nut is another solution. A person can clock the brake exactly where you want it (fine tune if necessary). Also help immensely during removal when cleaning.
You only use the brake tool and an open end wrench to remove while the rifle is only just snug in the gun vise.
No need to use a new crush washer when clocking is off.
I only have two Savages with brakes but removing them and installing them is easier than using shims or crush washers.
Found them quick on Amazon under 5/8-24 jam nuts. They are if I remember right about .170 thick. And only cost about $5 each with shipping.
    My .02,
    Randy

Not sure I understand what an "anti-crush" washer does. Do you mean a crush washer?
