Hello have not visited site for just about a year. I live in Washington state.

I have a question on a Stevens 311 series H double barrel shotgun.

Has a serial number A1554843. That seems to have too many digits/number

Someone is selling this shotgun and the numbers seem wrong. Thought I would
ask you guys / gals to see what you think. Too many numbers? Bad number?

Any ideas?
