Savage Axis Tactical Bolt 70 Win.

I was thinking of replacing my bolt to Tactical and looking at them on the internet I don't know which one to choose from, below is picture of there Left handed selections.

Anybody have replaced there's, any tricks of the trade is shaping it out.

What one do you think I need, tried calling the company and can't get telephone, or answer my e-mail.

All of them are built for the Axis in LH... Choose the one you think looks the coolest. I like the bottom right one myself. Would be interested to hear about your experience with Glades... Including the ship time and how the bolt works with large objective lensed optics.

Also, does it make it easier to cycle the action after you put it on... I put a Tactical works bolt on my 111 and I don't even have to break my cheek weld when cycling it now.

The handle itself should be the same, only difference being the knob that is threaded on. Gives way more leverage and more clearance in between the scope. Picture with factory 3x9x40

Please post another picture when you have it put on the rifle... VERY interested in what it looks like and how much clearance you have between the handle and your scope housing... I've been thinking about getting one for mine too.

    Looks good so far,

I like the looks man.... Any chance you could shoot another picture from directly behind the rifle? Sorry to be such a pain in the B... I have a very large ocular bell housing and my standard axis bolt rubs on the housing when cycling the bolt. Your ocular lens housing on that Leupold is a lot smaller.

Thanks for posting these though... I really do like the looks...

Sweet! Thanks much, I very much appreciate it. Been thinking about it a lot since they came out with these Bolts which also have primary extraction I hear.

Glad to see you shoot from the same side as me too.

Just back from the range, just now, and zero in the scope for 50 yards, weather permitting with all this rain going hit a range with 100 yards.
So far this rifle doesn't have the kick I thought it would have.
