Length of Pull & Boyd’s stocks

Proud owner here of a new left hand axis (model 19648) chambered in 270 win. Before even buying it, I knew I wanted a Boyd’s stock on it & will probably be going with the Classic or the Prairie design. But first, two questions for those of you who may know; 1) What is the length of pull of my Axis? and 2) when ordering a Boyd’s, the standard LOP is listed as 13 3/4”.. does that include or exclude the 1/2” recoil pad?

I ask because my fear is I will end up with a LOP that is too long... If I’ve measured correctly, the LOP of MY rifle is 13.5” including the recoil pad. Anything longer will be too long.

Thanks for the replies. For your time, this is what I shot the other day from 100yds, only my 3rd time out with it!

LOP is measured from the middle of the trigger to the rear of the stock with the buttpad included. Boyds 13-3/4" LOP includes the 1/2" pad in that measurement. If you want it longer or shorter you'll have to pay the upcharge for the custom length.

I just installed a Boyd on my Axis 270 Win, couldn't be happy.
I would say when swapping stocks, a drop of lock tight on the bolts, mine I checked after the range was little loose.

I asked Boyd some questions, here is there reply below, hope this helps.
    Long Action

Also you can select a 13 1/3" LOP. Our standard is at 13 3/4". You can select an upgraded recoil pad if you are looking for something softer. The 1/2" we offer as standard is a firmer rubber.
