    1899 carbine in .30-30, dates to 1907...

Went to my area Cabelas to sell a few handguns that were unused, gathering dust...while I waited for the paperwork, I looked over their used rifle racks, and saw an older looking Savage 99...
Took it down for a closer look, and it was a Model 1899, and a .30-30...later found the SN dated to 1907
So instead of leaving with cash in my pocket, I left with more credit card debt and a very nice old Savage 1899...
After the money from selling the handguns was applied to the sale, it cost me about $300.
Rifling is very sharp and square, trigger is very good and the lever is smoothing up after
Gun Scrubber and CLP treatment and a little bore brushing, and it is missing the rear sight ladder, which I'm searching for now...otherwise all there and working, including a homemade front sight blade.
    ..Pics coming...

I hope you enjoy your 99. I recently found parts for mine at Numrich Arms.

Not here for a while...heart problems.
Now have a replacement pacemaker, installed where I would shoulder a rifle to shoot it...So, I can't shoot this 1907 .30-30 carbine...
    So I'm selling it.
Pics here next week...plus ad in the correct place.
