i think that's pretty good deal. Does the stock already have pillars?
First-time poster, long time lurker on this forum. Today I picked up the third Savage that I have owned, and I need some help identifying what exactly I have. It is a 111 in 7mm Rem mag, blued with what appears to be a factory laminate stock. There is some minor pitting on the barrel, but action and stock both look good. This is my first non-accustock model so I will be bedding this one, but it has a blind magazine that is attached to the stock. Anyways, I picked it up for 300.00 which I hope was a pretty good deal. I'll get some pictures posted when I get a chance.

If you have a factory laminate stock and receiver in decent shape you did very well.
Good luck.
Waiting for the scope rail so I can get some glass mounted and picked up dies today. I’m excited to see how this one shoots. I plan on bedding the action next. Any advice on taking apart the bolt to clean it? Here are some pictures.
Thats a nice rifle!
If you’re having a tough time getting the bolt apart, use an Allen wrench and bolt handle in the shape /\. Then stand on back of it! Just be sure your going lefty loose!
