Savage BDM Mag Well to AICS

I have a Savage 12 short action 300 WSM barreled action. I’m thinking about buying a BDM HS Precision stock.
I plan to buy an AICS bottom metal…..the Savage one, I think.

So is there a better way to stock this barreled action with a good stock and AICS mags? ….or should I use the Savage mags? Are they 2.98” or longer?

I believe the Savage AICS mag is supplied by MDT & is 2.95”. They all are. Anything longer & you’d want a Long Action. I prefer the Accurate mags for my long loaded 260Rem, I think most do. (but I also use Magpul for anything general) However, Savage/MDT will work fine.

Good choice. No bottom metals or fitting to worry about.
