    Suppressor threaded barrel options

Bought my first suppressor (30 cal) for my AR in 6.8. I’m a fan of the .308 and see that the hog hunter comes with a threaded barrel.

What other options are there ?

    Anything in stainlesss ?

    Build my own ?

Any recommendations or suggestions are greatly appreciated.

You need to start with the threading specs for your suppressor, checking them against whatever factory-threaded muzzle you look at. Length of the tenon, thread pitch /class of fit will vary with factory threaded muzzles.

Most all suppressor manufacturers have the info available for download on their sites.

Thread pitch is 5/8x24 and common for the .308, but you make a good point.

I have a 7mm Rem Mag Long Range Hunter (not stainless) and a 300 WSM Bear hunter (stainless) that have a muzzle break that I plan to remove and put my first suppressor on once the tax stamp comes back. From here on out anything I buy is going to be threaded.
