I just tried to mount my Vortex 6-14-44 on Burris medium z rings and weaver 20moa rail and the bolt handle is hitting the scope eye piece. Will a glades armory bolt handle fix this issue? Any suggestions?

Another option would be to get slightly higher rings, depending on the amount of interference. The difference between Burris' medium and high heights is pretty small, but that might be all you need to prevent the bolt from hitting the bell. I always find factory stocks a little wanting in comb height, so higher rings would exacerbate that problem. Still, there are a number of ways to modify the comb height for proper cheek weld.
Along with threading my bolt knobs I used a Dremel to grind enough relief out to clear my scopes...I also filled in the voids with epoxy and painted them with epoxy paint.
The Glades does give move scope clearance.

That is what I was referring to about the Axis bolt throw.... I had to use Weaver X-High rings, but didn't use a 20 MOA rail. Just a standard rail. Did have to file off part of my original bolt handle to get it to clear.
Medium Weaver Tactical Rings and Glades Armory Bolt Handle worked just fine. Doesn't even come close to hitting my large eyepiece of my scope. It's an easy install job, very functional and cooler looking. Good luck!

I had high on there but getting more of a chin weld than cheek weld so figured try the mediums. I am buying a Boyds classic soon so im wondering if this will fix the issue and i can stick with high rings?
Like I said, It's possible that the classic will work for you, but I'm thinking you will still need a little more height to get good scope/eye alignment... If you want to make sure, then just add the adjustable cheek piece to your Boyd's stock order. I wish I would have done that on my Pro Varmint.
I emailed them and they don't offer that option anymore and said I need to buy an AT one.

Are you Saying GRS makes a Stock for an Axis?
Boyds Axis stocks have just about the same comb to bore relationship as factory Axis stocks, which seems to be universally low. I've always had to boost the comb height on mine to get proper cheek weld with most scopes. The profiles with rollover cheekpieces are harder to modify with a cheek riser.
Would the classic be considered a roll over cheek pad?
Well I just had someone file down the bolt handle arm and re blue it and works great. Now wearing medium rings.
My SS swfa in low rings rubbed if you pushed it that way. I didn't notice till this thread. I took off at least .080" for clearance.
