Question Stevens 200/Savage 110 Trigger Sear

I am in need of a replacement trigger sear for my Stevens 200 long action. I've checked Brownells, Gun Parts Group, Midway, etc to no avail. Someone told me that only gunsmiths can buy them directly from Savage, is that true? Anyone know where I can find one?

Order direct from Savage. Have to sign a waiver.

Thanks, I called them and they said their policy has changed and the sear must be purchased via a FFL.

I called Savage back to get a part number for my FFL to order and they said the part is discontinued. Is the Accutrigger sear different than the non-accutrigger sear? I think I read somewhere that they are the same.

If they want to be difficult, find a SN from an original long action accutrigger to provide them.

You will not need a specific length action for a serial/part number. Just an Accutrigger rifle

The sear is the same but the bolt release on it is specific.

I noticed that a top bolt release sear is provided with the Jard trigger, may be worth it ($85) for the sear and trigger.
