Almost a year since this posted. Nobody makes a replacement stock for this rifle yet? I am not a small guy and you need hands like a gorilla to get a firm grip on the stock due to the lack of any checkering. my normal solution is to just put a stick on sorbothane palm swell and a few wraps of black hockey tape around the grip and problem is solved. With the stock however, it is going to just compound the problem of the grip area being so large to begin with.

Everything on this page is for a savage long action...

Those all appear to be for repeater models. The 112 is a single shot. I too have one and the only thing I know of is you can get a stock that's made for a blind magazine and either not use the center screw, or bed a block in it to utilize the center screw. If there's been a stock made for the three screw single shot long action, I've not seen one yet. I'd love to know if there's one available and I just didn't know about it.

It's been a few years now- but when I was looking for a stock for the single shot target model I could not find one. I emailed boyds stocks about one and they told me that they would keep track of my interest in that model of stock and if they got enough requests then they would make a stock for it. I also asked them if they could just send me a stock that had the trigger and barrel channel inletted with no magazine box and that i would drill and finish it off. They could not do that because their program does everything at once. I doubt that they will get enough requests to make it worth their time so i just did as efm77 mentioned.... fit a block of wood in a blind magazine and then when i had it set right I bedded the entire action and it worked very well.
