Purchased a new Savage 25 Walking varminter that shoots MOA all day but has about 3-4 misfires per 25 rounds. After checking with Savage tech whose advice was worthless.I checked out all the areas I could thing of; I finally backed off my resizing die about 1/8 of a turn. My misfires stopped and and indentations in all my primer were significantly better. I had previously set my RCBS dies with the 1/4" adjustment recommended. Backing off to 1/8" seemed to tighten up my head space issues that were causing intermittent misfires.
