    Loving my Savage 440


    I've had this a since the fall.
    Savage 440 12ga w/ 30" barrels.
    Likely one of the older ones, you can see in 1 picture it has the * choke markings on the barrels (bottom, Imp Cyl, top Full).
    This one also does NOT have a barrel selector switch.

    Yes, for an estimated 50 year old.
    A couple dings in the wood and the bluing a little worn, probably from being in a case most of it's life.

    I just got an older savage 440 o/u. Was sure where barrel selector is. I have seen some with a small lever next to safety but mine doesnt have one. I tried to move safety switch side to side and it doesnt move.
