    Back porch shooting

Took a shot off the back porch while the wife was away, thanks to my neighbor I can reach a 100 yards all day 200 if I stretch! Trying the 150 gr core lokt this time, think the axis likes it.

    Target- 100 yards
    wind 1-3 mph half value
    Ammo-150 gr Remington core lokt
rifle- cold bore savage axis 308 (sport barrel)
shooter- cold and rushing before wife catches

Nice! Crazy Horse Nice! Great cold bore shot. Plant a couple apple trees out there and fill the freezer with deer. Lol. When the wife leaves of course.

Cool video. Was you able to fire a couple more rounds after that one?

I did not, that time... I was tracking cold shots, usually after three the poi raises slightly. I got her hot the other day trying to shoot the primer on a 20 gauge shell @100 yards. Chased it all over and finally had to let the barrel cool.

did manage to hit a 308 shell tho . Winds were kicking 15 mph gusts ! Fun times

I use to step out my front door and shoot into the wood pile in the side yard of a rental I was staying at years ago. I then noticed all these fresh dents in the ancient big satellite dish next to the wood pile. Lesson learned, a walther .380 won't even kill a dead tree.
