Which rear bag for the Savage BR stock?

The flat area starts at 7/8" at the back and flares to over 1-1/4 as it moves toward the muzzle. I have 3 rear bags but nothing with that much spread between the ears.

Get ahold of "Protektor". They have a custom bag, or will do one
    to your liking.

If it were me, up on the mill the stock would go, then a finish sanding.
One of the guys at the range just had his done, and at the same time
matched the forend to be straight and true to the butt.

Used to be that guys would have a round metal rail of about 3/4” diameter attached to the bottom of the larger stocks for the rear bag to ride on.
Quite often they were made of brass, but any metal would no doubt work.
I suppose you could even use a wood dowel to make one.
I also did what Fui suggested and reshaped them on the bottom to more of a sporter stock configuration.
I also use just a flat bag on some, as we use a quick responce type front rest for hunting, and all the adjusting is done there.

I still use the rod method depending on build. My 12 lb rules
rifle built on an MDT HS3, has me using a 1/2" chrome moly
tube. The next build may have me using a ball mill to create
my slot then an aluminum round bar to contour a V-shape.

At Ridgway Pa. they do but you'll see most not using them.
Target's are life size animals, and times are short. In a race
to get the 12 lb gun done and loads worked up, Ridgeway
    canceled everything for the year.

Nice way to spend a rainy day, shooting at clay birds on the berms.
Its about an hour from our camp, so worth being a member when i was spending more time up there thru the summer months.
When the leaves are down i can shoot all i want as far as i want from our front yard.
