That's why my LRP no longer wears the factory barrel. Looked like that too!

Good now. Shooting a 2.5" at it's best before lapping. Running 50.50gr of cfe 223 with a 130 ttsx with hbn2. Getting 2859 fps and 3/4 moa 5 shot groups consistently. 51.3 ran 2910 and was about 0.800" at 100, but it's getting close to the top. Should be hunting pigs next month I hope.

Nice. When I saw your pic I was skeptical you would win that battle.

    How did you lap it?

I would have sent it back. That's some pretty crappy barrel work. That Tubbs Final finish is good stuff though.

I liked most of the gun. I figured that of the barrel was bad, I could get a match barrel and still be cheaper than most all the high end ar 10s. Getting it to shoot without changing barrels is a bonus. Changed the trigger, grip, and added a suppressor. Topped it off with a Trijicon reap ir and I ready to go.

    Update.
I been running the gun with 125 Nosler BT for deer.
130 TTX for hogs. I also started shooting Hornady 150 spbt for hogs. The guns got about 18 hogs on it., about 15 coyotes, and a bunch of deer off of permits. The 130s and 125s are by far the most accurate out of the gun. I'm now running an H2 buffer. It is a bit picky, but it has a sweet spot where it runs like a champ.
