I've had a Savage 12 LRP in 6.5 Street cred for about 9 months. Optic was a Vortex Razor HD II (Which has an open center in the reticle)
I since have been converting this gun into an F-Class F-TR rig - First thing I did was put a Benchrest scope (Vortex Golden eagle) on it. Meaning, second focal plane with just a tiny wire thin cross-hair.
I went out today to zero the scope. The flyer you see is me walking it in, and the group in the middle is FIVE rounds.

This gun has always shot amazing groups but damn what a difference the "right" scope makes.

I have a Criterion FTR .308 tube sitting here waiting to be installed but I have a match next weekend and don't have time to break-in/load dev/etc. Now that I know this thing shoots so damn well I might just order a Savage target action and keep this gun as it is... or sell it.. Don't know. I hate to dismantle it when it's shooting like this!
