300 savage reloading question

So I have found 2 commercially loaded rounds for my 300 savage and I am into reloading so I will probably buy the leverevolution rounds and just reuse the brass. Has anyone come across a handload that their model 99 really liked as far as accuracy is concerned? I found a load in my Speer manual for a 130 grainer with a MV of 2846 but I have concerns about the 1/10 rifling stabilizing it. And advice or recommendations?

my 1924 99-G loves 150gr Hornady SP with rem. brass, fed 210 primers, 42.0 grs/W760 powder, 2600 fps. Can keep group at 3/4" at 100 yds. I started at min. and worked up in 0.5 grains. It sure beats factory loads of 1 1/4"- 1 1/2" groups. All deer dropped in their tracks or went a very short distance and collapsed. I'm talking out to 200 yd shot. I have found that my rifle shoots better when slowed down a little. I'll sacrifice speed for accuracy any time. I wish you the best in your re-loading endeavor. happy shooting.

The 10" twist on the 300 Savage will stabilize everything from 110 gr to 220 gr.

If you're concerned about the 130 grainers blowing up from too much spin, then that's another story and bullet specific. Some Varmint bullets might not handle fast twist barrels as well as other varmint bullets.

But if it's a 130 gr deer hunting bullet, I would not worry about it and go ahead and play with it.
